Team HistoryFounded on October 1, 1886, Arsenal’s predecessor was Dial Square, a club established by ammunition workers from the Royal Arsenal, hence its long-standing nickname "The Gunners". It was later renamed Royal Arsenal, then Woolwich Arsenal. In 1914, it was simplified to "The Arsenal", and the club’s official name was finally confirmed as "Arsenal" in 1919.  Team AchievementEstablished in 1886, Arsenal is one of the largest clubs in English history and the club that has stayed in England’s top-flight football league for the longest time. Since its founding, the club has won 13 English top-flight league titles (including 3 Premier League titles), 14 FA Cups, and 2 English League Cups. Arsenal’s most recent honor came in the Community Shield final before the 2023/2024 season, where they defeated Manchester City 5-2 on aggregate to claim the title. |
