Loïc Tanzi, renowned journalist from French outlet L’Equipe, wrote a transfer‑focused column for Paris Saint‑Germain.

Luis Enrique has to make weekly choices more than ever to finalise his attacking trident lineup. Although Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye remain within the squad, Paris Saint‑Germain no longer appear to count on these two players, at least until the transfer window closes.
The Spanish head coach has repeatedly stressed he only wants players who are one‑hundred‑percent committed to Paris Saint‑Germain’s project.
“If a player arrives here without a smile, it is better for him to find another path,” he said on the touchline last week after Paris Saint‑Germain suffered a 0‑1 defeat against Lens. He did not elaborate further but hinted that certain issues had left him dissatisfied.
“I will talk about transfer‑related matters after the transfer window closes. Not before, and not long after. Once the window is shut, I will discuss everything.”
The key club figure can afford to lose these two attacking players thanks to his deep pool of talented forwards. Ousmane Dembélé, who netted 20 goals across all competitions in the 2025‑2026 season, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with 19 goals, and Désiré Doué who scored 13 goals, are all available for selection. Once the trio are fully fit, they will form the starting attacking trident for at least the opening crucial fixtures of the campaign. Fierce competition for places is expected among the three players.
