The Football Association issued an official statement confirming that Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk is no longer suspended and eligible to return to action immediately. Mudryk also shared his thoughts on the verdict via his personal social media accounts.

After a long fight, the four-year ban imposed on me has been overturned, and I am allowed to resume my career with immediate effect. I am relieved that this process has reached its conclusion and I can return to football with my name cleared. Now I can look forward to the future. This was the hardest period of my career.
As I have maintained from the very start of this case, I never knowingly or intentionally used any prohibited substances. Fair competition, and representing my club and national team with professionalism and integrity, have always been principles I hold dear.
I want to thank my family and friends for their support and belief throughout this ordeal. I also express my sincere gratitude to everyone at Chelsea, my teammates and the Chelsea fans who stood by me. I am thankful to my legal team and all others who worked hard on this case.
My focus now is to get back to football, train hard every day and make a positive impact on the pitch. Thank you to everyone who believed in me. I look forward to the next chapter of my career.
Multiple English media outlets report Mudryk can play straight away. He originally received a four-year suspension for failing a drugs test, with the punishment reduced by two and a half years.
The 25-year-old Ukrainian was charged by the FA in December 2024 following a failed doping test. His last appearance for Chelsea came one month before the ban, in the Europa Conference League away fixture against Heidenheim.
It is confirmed that Mudryk’s suspension has been lifted. He is cleared to return and expected to join Chelsea’s first-team pre-season tour, likely linking up with the squad in Hong Kong after this weekend.
